Britney Spears’ team ‘cannot agree’ on a budget for her conservator’s security
Jodi Montgomery has requested $50K for extra security following intense scrutiny
Less than one week after Britney’s bombshell court testimony at Stanley Mosk Courthouse last Wednesday, the singer’s legal teams met again for matters of security.
The 39-year-old’s personal conservator, Jodi, and her attorney are requesting $50,000 be granted to her to provide ample security following increased attention and criticism, The Sun confirmed in last week’s hearing.
However, a source close to the case told The Sun that today’s hearing has been “pushed back to next week.”
“No decision has been made regarding Jodi’s security. It basically comes down to money,” the informant said.
The insider explained that: “Both legal teams need more time to figure out the logistics of distributing the money for Jodi’s security, it’s not as simple as writing a check.”
They continued: “Matthew [Rosengart] wants Jodi to be granted the security if that’s what Britney wants but he’s focused on the bigger picture.
“Matthew has no doubt he’s going to get Britney out of this conservatorship and when that happens, he wants to represent her.
“He wants to help her take appropriate action against her dad and any others who have been part of this abuse.”
