Harry, 27, has been racking up the roles in Tinseltown – after making his big screen acting debut in 2017, in the wartime epic Dunkirk, directed by Christopher Nolan.
He also has two independent movies currently in production, Don’t Worry Darling and My Policeman, both set in the 1950s – so not exactly Marvel territory (though WandaVision had a ’50s feel).
So, is Harry really in The Eternals? If so, what is his role and character arc?
Here’s everything you need to know (with a few mild spoilers for The Eternals and other Marvel movies).

Yep, it’s been confirmed: Harry Styles does have a role in The Eternals.
It’s a small role, though, as his character Eros (aka Starfox) is seen for the first time in a post-credits scene.
Eros appears in the clip with Angelina Jolie’s Eternals character, Thena, and two other Eternals, Makkari and Druig.
With a glowing yellow sphere in his hand, Eros explains to the Eternals that he can help find their missing friends – after having a cheeky flirtatious moment with Thena.
Like we said, it’s a short clip – but Harry has reportedly signed a five-film deal with Marvel. So, it’s believed that we’ll be seeing more of the character in future MCU flicks.
Who is Eros in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
We don’t know much yet about Eros in terms of the MCU, but the character is well-known in the comic books.
He’s brother of Thanos, the evil, universe-wiping overlord who was played by Josh Brolin in Avengers: Endgame.
Fortunately, it appears Harry’s character Eros has a slightly less menacing temperament than his brother.
Eros is the youngest son of A’Lars and Sui-San – both of whom are Eternals – getting rechristened from Eron after developing an interest in the opposite sex.
Eros’s carefree and womanising ways are a total contrast to Thanos’s power-hungry scheming, and throughout the comics the pair most certainly do not see eye to eye.

Their differences first came about after Thanos’s first major attack against their home planet, Titan, which left their mother Sui-San dead.
Eros fought alongside Titan’s survivors to stop Thanos in his tracks.
Skipping back to the movies now, it’s not clear if we’ll get to see much of Thanos and Eros’s back story in the MCU.
If you recall, Thanos is well and truly dead in the present timeline. First decapitated by Thor in Endgame, he came back as a past version of himself later in the movie.
It wasn’t until the film’s very end – thanks to a brave sacrifice from Iron Man – that he was ultimately snapped away using the Infinity Stones.
