The beloved espionage franchise has launched on the video streaming platform with 22 of 007’s big blockbusters now available to watch in full for free in December.
YouTube announced: ‘Whether you like your martinis shaken, stirred, or don’t like them at all, you can now spend your holidays with some of the most famous Bond films of all time.
‘From Sean Connery to Pierce Brosnan and beyond, fans can now watch 22 films of the 007 movie collection at youtube.com/watchbond or by accessing the Movies & Shows tab on a living room device.’
Starting with 1954 TV special Casino Royale – with Berry Nelson in the famous role – and Everything or Nothing: The Untold Story of 007, the collection includes a further 20 big screen favourites.

Fans in the US will be able to enjoy Bond’s blockbusters from late star Connery’s first appearance in Dr. No, through to Brosnan’s penultimate turn in 1999’s The World Is Not Enough.
Unfortunately, it sounds like fans elsewhere might have to wait a big longer for this, as YouTube made no mention of other territories.
They added: ‘The above films will be available in the U.S. as a part of YouTube’s growing free, ad-supported movies offering during the month of December, and will be available ad-free to YouTube Premium subscribers.
‘As James Bond himself would say: It’s “shocking. Positively shocking.” ‘

The movies showing up online will help tide people over until April 2021, with upcoming movie No Time To Die – which will mark Daniel Craig’s final appearance as Bond – delayed due to the pandemic.
Bond actor Daniel is set to star in No Time To Die alongside Rami Malek, Naomie Harris, Léa Seydoux and Lashana Lynch.
Gamers will also be able to get their 007 fix trough a highly anticipated title from IO Interactive.
The game has the working title of Project 007 and judging by the teaser trailer – and the fact IO were still recruiting staff to work on it last month – development has likely only just started, but it’s described as a ‘wholly original Bond story’, so probably not featuring whoever takes over from Craig.
The brief description on the official website says that, ‘players will step into the shoes of the world’s favourite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story’.
