ALEX Reid has shared the emotional meaning behind his “miracle” baby’s name after his and fiancee Nikki Manashe’s heartbreaking fertility battle.

They announced that they were expecting twins last year, but were left devastated when Nikki miscarried one of the babies in December.
However, they are now proud mum and dad to daughter Anastasia Pixie Reid – and have lifted the lid on the “precious” meaning behind her name.
Nikki revealed that it was a special nod to her beloved mum Anita, who passed away in 2010 at the age of 52 – when the new mum was just 24 years old.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Nikki explained: “It means everything calling her a name close to my mum who passed away.
It means everything calling her a name close to my mum who passed away.”
“My mum was my everything, losing a mum so young and not having her around, especially huge milestones in life has been unbelievably hard so I had to have my mum involved in the name.”
The moniker also has special links to Alex’s family, with Nikki continuing: “Anastasia also has Greek origins and Alex’s full name is Alexander Aristides Reid because his mum loved Greek mythology.
“Anastasia shares the same initials as Alex so it’s super special for us.”
She and Alex planned to pay tribute to Alex’s late dad Bob if they were to have a boy, with the cage fighter left devastated when Bob passed away from a terminal illness in 2015.
Nikki, 45, announced her and Alex’s little girl’s arrival on Instagram earlier this week, sharing a sweet poem about her daughter.
Both she and Alex said that they “finally feel complete” after becoming parents, with Alex adding: “We finally have a happily ever after as a family.”
In November, the couple confirmed Nikki was four-weeks pregnant with twins after a gruelling eight-year fertility battle.
Nikki, who met Alex in 2013, said at the time: “Even miracles take a little time. We still hope and sometimes against all odds, against all logic, we still hope.”
