In new on-set photos for the upcoming Netflix film The Adam Project, Ryan Reynolds can be seen punching an unsuspecting Mark Ruffalo as they play out a scene.
The Adam Project sounds like it has a pretty fun pitch. The film features Reynolds going back in time to get help from his 13-year old self as he confronts his late dad.
It seems that relationship is going to get heated in the film too.
New on-set snaps show Reynolds indeed confronting his father, played by Ruffalo. While not too much is known, Reynolds is shown throwing a blow at his dad while his younger-self watches on.
The movie is currently filming at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada and has been in production since November 2020.
Members of the crew can be seen wearing face masks, as is regulation, so as to minimise the risk of coronavirus on set.

The film is being directed by Shawn Levy, who directed Reel Steel and the upcoming Reynolds action-comedy, Free Guy. Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Garner are also attached to appear in the film, though their roles are not known.
The Adam Project has a fairly long history, initially announced as a spec script in 2012 going by the name of Our Name is Adam. It even had Tom Cruise attached but never quite came together. That was until Netflix revived the project last summer.
As of yet, the film doesn’t have a release date, but production does seem to be persevering through the current global pandemic. Here is hoping it is out before too long, because this looks like it could be a little gem from Netflix.
