What is Bad Chefs and how does it work?
Bad Chefs is a new reality show that will challenge ten takeaway addicts to ditch the delivery apps and swap convince food for culinary flare as they learn to cook for the first time.
The contestants will face daily challenges and will have to learn fast to avoid eviction and stay in the competition.
But are they able to hold their own in the kitchen when things start to heat up, or will they give into the craving for delivery apps?
Who is the host of Bad Chefs?
YouTube sensation Chunkz will oversee the cooking competition as the takeaway obsessives live and cook together.
Speaking ahead of the series, Chunkz commented: “Let’s get cooking! If you can’t boil an egg or cut a loaf of a bread this is a show you can get on board with.
“I can’t wait to see what the Bad Chefs can or can’t cook up…this is going to be so bad it’s good.”
Amin Mohammed aka Chunkz is a rapper and YouTube personality, who boasts 2.4 million subscribers and 181 million video views as of September 2022.
In 2019, Chunkz joined the YouTube group, Beta Squad, alongside Niko Omilana, before earning a record contract and releasing two tracks in 2020.
In September 2022, he landed his own ITV2 show, Bad Chefs.
Speaking to GRM Daily about being the host of the show, he said: “I’m very excited.
“It’s a different avenue, something I haven’t really pursued or done; having my own TV show.
“It’s something obviously that you – especially when you’re in the industry that I’m in and in entertainment – you have to have your own TV show at one point, so the concept made sense to me and it’s something I was very excited about and yeah, I can’t believe it’s finally coming out in September.”
When does the show start on ITV2?
Bad Chefs kicks off on ITV2 on Monday, 26 September at 9 PM.
The series will air over ten consecutive weekdays starting from September 26.
This means the series is set to conclude on October 7, when the winner of the competition will be announced.
Fear not if you miss any episodes as they will become available to watch over on ITV Hub.
