GBBO presenters Noel and Matt, and judge Paul, teamed up for the opening sequence of the hit Channel 4 baking series to perform a pun-infused remix of Billy Cyrus’ Achy Breaky Heart.
With their stage set up outside the Bake Off tent, the trio proudly wore their questionable mullet wigs and fringed cowboy jackets for their jamming session.
Noel and Paul took charge of strumming the guitar while Matt was left to the drums and it was truly a sight to behold.
Lyrics included: ‘You can ice your bun, and then when you are done, You can load your quiche with cheese and ham.
‘You can do a choux and you can sit and watch that muffin rise.’

It’s safe to say that judge Prue Leith did not get in on the country music action.
Viewers were loving the remix and many burst into hysterics, with one tweeting: ‘Pmsl THIS IS AMAZING HAHAHAHAHAHAHA LOVE IT.’
Another admitted: ‘Ima gonna be singing that all day tomorrow,’ as the official Bake Off account quipped back: ‘Imagine waking up with a mullet too…’
One unimpressed viewer cringed: ‘Painful,’ but another praised: ‘Loved it!’
‘This was… certainly a choice,’ another weighed in.
The Bake Off account had a pretty genius suggestion and joked: ‘Spinoff TV series pitch: Matt Lucas sings well-known TV theme songs… in German… with Jürgen giving his honest critique afterwards. Slide into our DMs if interested, @Channel4.’
The cast for series 11 includes a detective with the Met Police, a psychology student and an accomplished trombonist, with all of them hoping to follow in the footsteps of 2020 winner Peter Sawkins and produce zero soggy bottoms.
Great British Bake Off airs Wednesdays at 8pm on Channel 4.
