Caption: Death In Bollywood viewers divided as Jiah Khan’s boyfriend protests innocence in her death
Death In Bollywood viewers have been left split over whether they believe Jiah Khan’s boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi was involved in her death.
Actress Jiah, 25, was found dead in her family home in Mumbai, India in 2013, following an argument with Pancholi, who was the last person to see her alive.
By her body was a six-page letter, blaming Pancholi’s behaviour and alleged abuse as the cause behind her dying.
Mumbai Police maintain their ruling of her death as a suicide, however an independent investigation in 2016 paid for by Jiah’s family believes that the scene was orchestrated to look like one.
As a result, Jiah’s mother Rabbiya believes her daughter was murdered.
Pancholi appeared in tonight’s episode of the documentary alongside his father Aditya Pancholi, also a Bollywood stars, and both fiercely defend his innocence.

As he stands on bail for ‘abetting the suicide’ of Jiah, Pancholi tells cameras that while they had arguments, he did not encourage her to take her own life.
He added that they were only together for five months, and claimed she already had depression, calling it a ‘conspiracy’ against him.
But Rabbiya, as well as Jiah’s sisters, also appear and insist that wasn’t true, stating she would’ve spoken up if she felt that way.

Both sides call out missing evidence, such as the tracksuit she was wearing the night of her death, suspicious.
In episode 2 of Death In Bollywood, viewers couldn’t decide whose side of the argument to believe – and added that ‘things weren’t adding up’ in the fumbled investigation
The final episode of the series airs tomorrow evening, with the all three episodes already available on BBC iPlayer.
When approached by the Death In Bollywood filmmakers, the Mumbai Police and the Central Bureau of Investigations declined to be involved and refused to comment on any of the allegations.
They maintain that Jiah died by suicide.
Neither side of the argument believe the truth has come out regarding her death.
