Gina Carano has claimed that her former bosses at Disney ‘bullied’ her after she was sacked from The Mandalorian.

The actress, who played Cara Dune in the hit series, was fired over her social media posts which reportedly compared being under Republican rule to Jewish people during Nazi Germany.

The 38-year-old star has since shared her new post-Mandalorian project in partnership with The Daily Wire, a conservative news website founded by right-wing political commentator Ben Shapiro.

In an interview on The Ben Shapiro Show, which will air on Sunday night, Gina is set to open up about her axing.

In a preview clip, the fitness model claimed that her former bosses ‘bullied’ her.

‘I’ve been through so much, and I’ve seen so much now, clearly, of the bullying that’s been taking place, and I saw it before,’ she began.

‘I’m not the only one that’s ever been bullied by this company, and I know that so deeply.’

‘I could share a story which would turn things around in the media but I can’t because it would sell out a friend…Everyone is afraid of losing their job,’ she added.

Gina was let go from LucasFilm after the social media campaign #FireGinaCarano started trending on Twitter, urging the company to take action following Carano’s post.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the studio announced: ‘Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future.

‘Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.’

The former mixed martial arts fighter also claimed on Weiss’ Substack page Common Sense that she found out she was fired through social media.

She alleged that she first ran into trouble with Lucasfilm and Disney over a joke about transgender pronoun usage in her Twitter bio.

She stated: ‘Earlier on last year before The Mandalorian came out, they wanted me to use their exact wording for an apology over pronoun usage. I declined and offered a statement in my own words.

‘I made clear I wanted nothing to do with mocking the transgender community, and was just drawing attention to the abuse of the mob in forcing people to put pronouns in their bio.’

The actress continued: ‘That was heartbreaking, but I didn’t want to take away from the hard work of everyone who worked on the project, so I said OK. That was the last time I was contacted about any type of public statement or apology from Lucasfilm.’

Metro.co.uk has reached out to LucasFilms and Disney Plus for comment.
