Radio 1Xtra host Snoochie Shy has signed up for the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity, according to reports.
The 29-year-old DJ, real name, Cheyenne Davide, has her own show on the urban contemporary radio station, titled The Snoochie Shy Show.
Along with being a DJ, the star is also a model and brand ambassador for Reebok, but is said to be heading to Gwrych Castle later this month, to tuck in to some gruesome Bushtucker trials.
A source told The Sun: ‘Snoochie will bring some edgy glamour into Gwrych Castle, and is guaranteed to hear things up in the chilly ruin when the show kicks off next month.
‘She’s a great draw for younger viewers who will be familiar with her from her social media pages as well as a DJ.’
Bosses are thought to believe the London-based model will be a fresh face, as other celebrities that have been rumoured to take part are in the older age bracket, including Good Morning Britain’s Richard Madeley.
The hit series will kick off on Sunday, November 21 (Picture:ITV)
I’m A Celeb will be another big milestone for the presenter, who also appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox, alongside Jeremy Vine earlier on in the year.
On Tuesday, show bosses revealed the launch date of the hit ITV reality show, kicking off on Sunday, November 21.
It was recently reported that rapper Naughty Boy will be joining this year’s line-up, after pulling out last year, along with The Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge
Ant and Dec teased us all with a video showing the moment they were informed of the line-up, and suggested that one particular contestant will be up for all of those pesky Bushtucker trials.
Not long to wait now!
