BEHIND the scenes pictures from Birds of a Feather’s Christmas special set have definitely confirmed that it’s not one to miss.
Loose Women presenter Linda Robson, 62, took to Instagram to share some snaps for the upcoming episode with her 129k followers.

BBC One first premiered Birds of a Feather back in 1989 and lasted until 1998, and it was then revived 16 years later by ITV.
And after tallying up a total of 12 successful series in 2017, the producers finally decided to call it quits.
To everyone’s delight, last month Linda confirmed that the show would be returning this December.

The Loose Women presenter shared some pics from on set with the caption: “Here’s a sneak peak of behind the scenes in the BOAF Christmas special!
“Filmed in lockdown at the beautiful @sopwellhouse ? couldn’t think of a nicer place to spend our time in lockdown of course in our Birds Bubble @lesdennis and Amy metcalfe.”
After first hitting our screens 30 years ago, fans of the show couldn’t contain their excitement and flocked to the comments section to show their love and support.

Pauline and Linda played the role of two sisters called Tracey Stubbs and Sharon Theodopolopodous, who were brought together when both their husbands were sent to prison for armed robbery.
Meanwhile, Lesley plays their good friend and neighbour Dorien Green.
Sadly Pauline won’t be returning to our screens as her loud-mouthed character because she’s now retired and has 200 nationwide performing arts academies to look after.
There will be a few new faces in the special, including Les Dennis as Dorien’s new flame Graeme, a cameo from Curtis Walker and also Ami Metcalf as Jordan, a young friend of Tracey.

The show will incorporate everything that has happened over the past year with Covid-19 and see pals Tracey and Dorien getting on each others’ nerves, while Sharon is on the other side of the world stuck on a cruise.
Speaking about the Christmas episode, Lesley said: “I’m so excited to be putting Dorien’s high heels back on for a Christmas special of Birds.
“It’s been 3 years since viewers last saw us and Dorien’s only gone and got herself a new man!
“We all need a laugh right now and I promise this special will deliver the festive goods!”

Meanwhile, Linda said “I’m so happy we have a new Birds adventure.
“Trace and Dor have been at loggerheads with each other for months, will it be a peaceful Christmas in Essex?!
“The script for this special is brilliant, I promise we’ll have lots of laughs for fans of the show.”
