Married At First Sight UK star Morag Crichton has made a big impression with viewers already this series – and it turns out it’s not the first time she’s looked to find love on TV.
Viewers saw Morag tie the knot with complete stranger Luke during Tuesday’s show, and some also spotted her from her time on dating show Take Me Out.
The veterinary nurse starred on the ITV programme back in 2018. She lasted seven weeks as she looked to bag a date on the isle of Fernando’s.
Things didn’t quite work out for her then, but now she’s back on our screens and hoping to meet the right person on the E4 series.
Speaking about her experiences on Take Me Out with the Plymouth Herald, Morag said: ‘I didn’t get a date, and I’m not disappointed.
‘There was nothing wrong with the men but I wouldn’t have gone out with them in real life. I had to be true to myself.’
Speaking about someone she did have eyes for, Morag said: ‘Anyway, the only one I fancied was Paddy (McGuinness). He was the nicest guy, so good to all of us. A real gentleman.’
Eagle-eyed fans quickly spotted the connection, with one social media user writing: ‘I’m sure I’ve seen Morag on Take Me Out?’
‘Morag signing up for all the dating shows. She was on “Take Me Out” too,’ another said.
Morag is one of the people hoping to form a special connection on Married At First Sight after being set up with fireman Luke.

Opening up on the show about her personal situation, she said it was ‘her time’ to meet someone after her sick father who she cared for died.
Despite a negative first impression which caused her to claim that she ‘hadn’t got what she ordered’ with her partner Luke, she began to warm to him as the episode went on.

Elsewhere, Married At First Sight UK saw their first gay couple officially tie the knot last night, but their romance could already have hit a roadblock as one of the pairs’ mother shared ‘reservations’ about their new husband.
The former singletons made history for the LGBTQ+ community as they married in the latest episode of the new E4 series.
Married At First Sight UK airs weeknights at 9pm on E4.
