‘I have put a packet of Durex into Greg’s good luck card. Just two. But you don’t know, do you? They haven’t got time for a lot of s***ging, I hope, they’ll be so exhausted.’
She added: ‘I am not going to the show every week. Karen’s gorgeous, she’s from Venezuela and is only 39.’
The Strictly ‘curse’ refers to individuals taking part in Strictly who are already in relationships, who end up finding romance with fellow participants.

Strictly Come Dancing co-presenter Claudia Winkleman previously shared her views on the curse, telling Digital Spy: ‘I understand, it’s very intense. I don’t believe in the curse, but I think lots of people have come in single and they might have met somebody or had a little romance.’
Some stars who have found love on the show are still together, including Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalev, and Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell.
Greg and Dame Emma, meanwhile, have been married since 2003, after meeting on the set of the 1995 adaptation of Sense & Sensibility.
The actress revealed last year that Greg actually took their co-star Kate Winslet on a date before her, saying: ‘Before he did the job, he went to see a friend of his who was a bit witchy and she said he would meet his future partner on the film.
‘He assumed it wasn’t me because I was married and quite a lot older than him so he thought it might be Kate. He took her to Glastonbury, and she was so bored, and he thought, “This isn’t going to work, who can it be?”‘
However, the pair ended up finding their way together and have been happily married for 18 years.
They also share their two children – Gaia and Tindyebwa, nicknamed Tindy.
Strictly Come Dancing returns Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.
