The Masked Singer viewers are sure they have worked out the identity of the Blob and they’re convinced it’s Lenny Henry behind the costume.
On Saturday’s episode of the Masked Singer, one of Blob’s clues was that they were named after the doctor that delivered them – which seemed to make it very clear it could only be Lenny.
Fans were quick to deduce that Lenny’s real name is Lenworth George Henry, after being named after Dr Lenworth who delivered him.
Viewers were also convinced that the voice under the mask sounds a lot like Lenny, which also led them to believe he was the Blob.
Another of the clues also suggested that the Blob had worked with George Michael’s producer, which also ties in to Lenny.
Lenny’s single The Cops Don’t Know, which was released in 2016, was produced by Chris Porter who also previously worked with George Michael.

One clue which threw people off the scent was that the Blob mentioned wearing glasses, however there is still a connection to Lenny in there too.
The comedian had a former character – Trevor McDoughnut – who was based on a parody of newsreader Trevor McDonald.
Mentions of slime also make sense with regards to Lenny’s children’s TV presenting career, where he would often get slimed on the show.
Fans tweeted: ‘Blob is definitely Lenny Henry in his Biography he said he was named after a Dr Lenworth. Lenny’s full name is Lenworth George Henry.’
Others added: ‘Blob is 110% Lenny Henry’, ‘Done deal that Blob is Lenny Henry’ and ‘I see you Davina and Jonathan, pretending you don’t unequivocally know that Blob is our Lenny’.
The Masked Singer continues on Saturday from 7pm on ITV.
