Mark Henry has left WWE fans concerned about a potential leg injury after his appearance on Raw this week.
The World’s Strongest Man – who used his real-life achievement and strongman success as the basis of his wrestling character – was back on the red brand last night for a special Legends Night edition.
However, many viewers were left baffled when Henry was spotted with a scooter backstage as Randy Orton – known as the Legend Killer – referenced his leg while issuing a warning.
And he raised more questions when he returned at the end of the show to join the likes of Hulk Hogan, Melina and more on the stage to watch the main event match between WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and challenger Keith Lee.
It looked like he may have been wearing a boot cast as he stood alongside his fellow legends, but he’s offered no details on social media despite concern from the fans.
One concerned admirer tweeted: ‘Seeing Mark hurt like that hurts my soul what happen to his leg? (sic)’
In a slightly bizarre response, the 48-year-old star replied: ‘Damn right.’
Meanwhile, other fans simply felt their age after seeing the likes of Henry and The Big Show appearing on the Legends Night special.
One wrote: ‘I don’t think adult me is ready to accept Big Show and Mark Henry being booked as legends yet’.
Despite his appearance on the broadcast, just this week Big Show insisted his own in-ring career is far from over and he’s chasing championship gold.
He teased: ‘That’s funny. I’ve been asked a lot, “are you interested in another championship opportunity or championship match?”
‘I definitely think in 2021, I’m a guy that’s always looking for opportunity. If I get the opportunity to compete for a coveted championship, absolutely!
‘That’s why I’m still doing this. I’m doing this because I have fun, and I’m also doing it because I’m still really good at it.’
