WWE legend Michelle McCool has tested positive for Covid-19.
The former women’s champion – who is married to The Undertaker – has revealed she has been diagnosed with the respiratory illness this week and is suffering from mild symptoms.
In a post on Instagram, she wrote: ‘Word round here seems to spread as quickly as this virus ….soooo, thank you to all who have checked on me!!!
‘Not trying to hide it (just been too tired to post). What I thought were my allergies, turned out to be a + COVID test earlier this week!’
The 40-year-old star – whose most recent in-ring appearance came in a battle royale at the Evolution in 2018 – revealed she had no clue how she contracted the disease.
She continued: ‘No clue how or where I caught it!
‘Blessed to have mild symptoms…super blessed I’m the only one in our home who has it…. & super, super blessed to have a daughter who made an 8′ long “COVID Communication telephone!”
‘I’d give anything to hug & love on her right now! Y’all stay safe & healthy!#daddyholdingdownthefort #blessed #praying #grateful (sic)’
Despite not being involved on-screen, Michelle still played a big role in her husband’s final bout as AJ Styles repeatedly brought her up in the build up to their Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36.
The couple share a daughter together, and the Dead Man previously joked he was the worst wrestler in their family home.
Speaking in an online Q&A with Nine Line Apparel, he said: ‘I’ve come to live with it, I’ve come to grips with it.
‘It’s not only the second best wrestler – now, with my daughter, I’m the third best athlete in the house. Hey, my pride sits up here on one of these shelves back behind me!’
