A SHOP has been mocked for selling “tacky” Captain Sir Tom Moore merchandise – including mini skirts with his face on.
An online print merchandise store is flogging memorabilia plastered in the late Captain Tom’s face.

Bizarre fashionista items on sale include “RIP Tom” mini skirts, masks, duvet sets and pillows featuring the war hero’s image.
The products are designed and sold by people using Redbubble – a popular online marketplace for print-on-demand products.

The hero war veteran, who raised millions for the NHS at the start of the pandemic, was admitted to hospital on Sunday after struggling with his breathing.
A mini skirt priced at £28.87 bears Captain Tom’s face on the front and back – designed and sold by AndythephotoDr.
Photos online show the model’s bum wrapped in the war hero’s face.
Other items include a 100% polyester duvet set, priced at £104.32.
The fabric features a print of Captain Tom walking using his frame, a rainbow above his head and the words “Tom Moore 1920-2021” written underneath.
T-shirts can also be purchased – showing Captain Tom dressed in a tuxedo with a Union Jack flag draped over his shoulder.
The T-shirts range in sizes from small to 3XL and bear the words: “Rest in peace Captain Tom Moore 1920-1921.”

One user posted online: ”There is all sorts of tacky Captain Tom merchandise on there – it’s shameless cashing in.”

Nearly 200,000 people have signed a petition calling for the government to hold a state funeral for Captain Tom.
The hero, who became a beacon of hope as coronavirus first gripped the world, fell ill with pneumonia and last week tested positive for the disease.

The Reverend Jarel Robinson-Brown appeared to dismiss the efforts of the war hero, which had been praised by the Archbishop of Canterbury and political leaders.
Following Captain Toms death, the Queen led tributes to the hero and is sending a private message of condolence to his family.
Boris Johnson called him a “hero in the truest sense of the word” as he also offered his sympathies.
David Beckham hailed Captain Tom as the “very best of British” following his death at the age of 100.
The flag above No10 has been lowered to half mast to honour the veteran.
