But one woman claims to have found the best three jeans for shorter women – and one pair is just £16.50.

Priya Coco, who is 5ft tall, took to her TikTok page to share her top tips, revealing she’s chosen one straight legged jeans, one flared pair and one skinny.
For the skinny ones, she opted for a £16.50 pair of Matalan jeans – the Papaya Petite Jessie High Waisted Jeans.
And the reviews on the Matalan website speak for themselves, with one person raving: “At 4,11 finding jeans to fit me has been a nightmare but finally I’ve found some that actually fit perfectly on my little legs!
“Gone is the wrinkly ankles and no longer do I need to fold the bottoms up! My prayers have been answered!”
Priya’s top pick for a pair of straight-legged jeans was the Vera Moda Petite Joana cropped jeans in black – available for £23.80 from ASOS.
The denims are currently sold out on the website.
And her suggestion for flared jeans is the Topshop Jamie flared jeans in black, which she teamed with heeled boots to give herself a bit more height.
The Topshop jeans are the most expensive of the three, at £42 a pair.
People were quick to flock to the comments section to thank Jamie for her video, with one writing: “Thank you!!! I’ve been searching forever for a pair.”
