Wrap hack, but make it pancake (Picture: Instagram/sopheallen)
We’re sure you’ve seen the genius wrap hack on TikTok by now.
The method of cutting a line in a tortilla, folding it and wrapping it has wowed many and changed our breakfast game.
And now it’s had a pancake makeover.
Ahead of Pancake Day next week, one TikTokker, Sophie Allen, tried the trick on a homemade crepe, filling it with delicious goodness.
The fitness enthusiast shared her version on TikTok and Instagram where she made the pancake from scratch.
Using egg whites, Sophie’s one looked a little closer to a crepe than a pancake.
She cut a vertical line on the bottom of the pancake, from the middle to the edge, then spread peanut butter on the left quarter.
Sophie sprinkled cinnamon on top of the peanut butter before moving on to the next quarter.
She then added strawberries, and chocolate, bananas and maple syrup to the other segments before folding it from where it was cut.
You can make your own, of course, using whatever ingredients you like, including store-bought pancakes or ones you make yourself.
- Heat a non-stick pan (preferable) over low heat, otherwise lather any pan in coconut oil
- Pour in egg whites (Sophie used 180g) and allow to cook through until white and flip it
- Remove from pan and cut to the centre with scissors
- Add your ingredients of choice – Sophie used peanut butter, cinnamon, strawberries, cut up chocolate, bananas and maple syrup
- Fold it altogether and devour

Sophie’s followers loved the video and were excited to make their own.
‘Looks Delicious!!!’ wrote one while another said: ‘Amazing idea’.
Others tried out Sophie’s version, saying: ‘The best thing I’ve ever eaten’.
One person lauded the recipe for its diverse food groups, saying: ‘Best breakfast ever (protein, carb and fat).’
And don’t forget the dairy – add in a bit of chocolate and you’re good to go.
