Jonathan Hernandez died after getting trapped under a falling window while allegedly breaking into a house. He was engaged to Patricia Duarte, right, with the couple parents to five children
A suspected burglar died in a freak accident after a window fell on his neck as he was allegedly trying to break into a home. Jonathan Hernandez, 32, was left pinned in mid-air and ended up being strangled after the glass panel fell on him at a home in Lehigh Acres, Florida, on Saturday.
Hernandez – a convicted felon and aspiring rapper – is believed to have scaled a wall and was part-way through climbing through the window when it crashed down on him.
An eyewitness spotted Hernandez hanging from the opening 5.5 feet off the ground, and dialed 911. But by the time deputies from Lee County Sheriff’s Office arrived Hernandez was already dead.
The father of five was known as Taz UFO or UFO and uploaded several videos of himself rapping to YouTube, according to MailOnline. He also has previous arrests for theft and larceny.

Hernandez’s fiancee Patricia Duarte insisted the dead burglary suspect had a kind heart.
She told WBBH: ‘‘When I first met him, I was like, “Man he looks like he has a rap sheet like El Chapo.”
‘And he’s the complete opposite of that. He’s the sweetest person you’d probably ever meet and has the biggest heart.’
Duarte also disputed allegations that Hernandez died while housebreaking, saying: ‘There’s no way. This isn’t what happened.’
Another friend, Tyson Lane, refuted the burglary claims too, saying: ‘He is not a burglar. He’s not a thief. He’s not a bad guy.
‘That’s not what he is.’
Duarte has called for a full investigation into her late partner’s death.
