The FBI is asking for the public’s help to identify the people who stormed the US Capitol building yesterday.
Investigators want to hear from anyone who knows or has information about any of the rioters who ‘actively instigated violence’ in Washington DC. The FBI is inviting people to come forward with tips as well as video footage and photos of the insurrection, as they work to names to faces of those involved.
Some of the pro-Trump mob who breached the Capitol building at around 2.30pm local time have already been identified, but the FBI believes many people, who are so far unidentified, may have violated federal law.

‘If you have witnessed unlawful violent actions, we urge you to submit any information, photos, or videos that could be relevant.’
Many rioters managed to get into the Senate Chamber whilst hundreds clashed with police outside the Capitol Building.
