A group of up to 10 young boys stripped a 36 year-old woman naked, then beat her to death in a park, police believe A newly-released search warrant says the youngsters may have begun attacking Ee Lee close to a tree in Washington Park, Milwaukee on the afternoon of her death in September 20.
The papers, seen by Fox6, say Lee tried to flee to a nearby pond to safety, only for her attackers to follow her and continue the beating. Afterwards, 11 people described as ‘juveniles’ were filmed fleeing the park on foot and by bike.
Lee is said to have been dragged by her assailants, and was later found naked and unconscious. She died several days later, with police treating her death as a murder.
A subsequent hospital examination found evidence that Lee had been sexually assaulted. She was captured on surveillance walking into a supermarket shortly before the fatal beating. No motive for Lee’s killing has been given, and police have yet to say whether they have made any arrests.
So far, investigators are said to be focusing on two unnamed boys who called police afterwards to report finding Lee unconscious. Police went to one of the teens’ homes, where the boys mother told him to go inside and ‘delete everything off his phone,’ as officers appeared, it is claimed.
Ee’s sister Nancy told of her anguish at knowing that her sister’s killers are still on the streets. Nancy, who said her sister had been experiencing personal difficulties shortly before her death, explained: ‘I really want to find out what is going on and why that would happen to her.
‘It hurts so bad, you know? It really hurts me. I just want justice for her. That’s all I want. She don’t deserve to die that way.’
