This is the adorable moment a lost husky is reunited with his family after spending six months living on the streets.
Siberian Husky, Duke, went missing in summer last year in Haysville, Kansas, and ever since his heartbroken owners Justin Morgan and his son, Jackson, have been desperately trying to find him, but without any luck.
That was until a family friend stepped in to say they spotted Duke at a local animal shelter.
The breakthrough paved the way for Duke to go home, and video footage shows him howl with joy as is reunited his family.
‘We drove all over town’, said Justin Morgan, speaking of the family’s frantic search to find Duke.
‘Jackson, he was probably the one who took it the hardest. He would break down every once in a while, and he would cry, and I would be like Jackson what is going on and he was like, ‘I am missing Duke’.
‘It meant everything to me (to get Duke back). He knew instantly, he made sounds I have never heard him make.’
Jackson and Justin spent many hours trying to find Duke themselves, they put up signs and posted about Duke on social media.

But the family say they never gave up hope, and that hope remained right up until they were reunited with their beloved Duke earlier this month.
Justin didn’t tell Jackson that Duke had been found, instead he decided to surprise his son by bringing the family pet home without warning.
Justin filmed the reunion and admits it was an emotional moment for everyone.
He said: ‘It made me smile made me cry. It was emotional.
‘I knew he was growing in the winter coat in the summer and that is when I lost him so I knew he had his winter coat by now.

‘The look on their (children’s) faces. The way that Jackson reacted was exactly the way everybody thought he would react. It was very emotional.’
Jackson added: ‘It was hard (without Duke). He is a cuddler, and a talker.
‘He means everything to me still.’
