Leicester came third according to the findings from smart money platform Credit Karma.
Amid the escalating cost-of-living crisis, it found nine of the 20 top teams have increased their season ticket prices ahead of the new season.
It found more than a quarter (28 per cent) of supporters rely on credit cards and loans to pay for their seat.
Another 11 per cent opt for finance packages provided by the club, according to the poll of 2,000 adult fans.
