Secret Instagram tips on how often you need to post for MAXIMUM likes revealed by influencers

INSTAGRAM has reportedly shared secret tips with influencers on how often they should post for maximum likes.

The social media platform apparently also revealed what types of posts can increase followers and engagement.

According to Business Insider, three Instagram creators told the news outlet about the tips they were given.

Instagram reportedly declined to comment on the specific secrets and only certain creators are said to have been told them.

The guidance from Instagram is said to have been shared privately over the last three months.

The creators told Business Insider they’d been contacted and met with a representative privately or participated in an advice workshop.

Artist and small business owner Rachel Reichenbach revealed the recommendations she had been given by Instagram in a recent blog post that went viral.

She has over 74,000 Instagram followers on her profile that’s under the name “@rainylune”.

Reichenbach revealed that she was advised to post three in-feed posts a week.

That includes in-feed Reels or IGTV posts.

It also said she should post 8 to 10 Stories per week and at least 2 a day.

She was also told that 4 to 7 Reels a week would improve her engagement.

Finally, the advise is to add on 1 to 3 IGTV posts per week, which includes Instagram Live.

This may seem like a lot and that’s because it is for the average user and influencers a like.

The worry is that not doing all these things will see your engagement decrease which means less likes and less new followers.

Reichenbach wrote on her blog post: “Please keep in mind that all of this is just Instagram’s Ideal™️, and Instagram does not care about your mental health and sanity!!

“But I do!! Please do not feel pressured like “oh god now i gotta come up with 7 reels a week just to get views on all my other posts otherwise i am subjected to instagram corporal punishment :(“ because seriously, the amount they want from people is inhumane.

“Take care of your own mental health and sanity first.”

Overall, the claims suggest the key to working well with the Instagram algorithm is using your Feed, Stories, Live, IGTV, and Reels multiple times a week.

A lot of emphasis is put on using the fairly new Reels feature that some people tend to avoid.

It’s important to remember that lots of creators create their own pattern of what works well for them and don’t necessarily stick to the guidelines above.
