Let’s farm together and feel alright.
Natsume’s Harvest Moon: One World will not release for Nintendo Switch until March 2nd, 2021, giving you a couple more months to get excited. If you’re not already on your way, perhaps the Collector’s Edition will help you get there.
Pre-orders for the Harvest Moon: One World Collector’s Edition opened yesterday, and include a chicken plushie and a music diorama, both of which are appropriately adorable. The latter is one of the more unique bonuses we’ve seen in a collector’s edition. It features the original song “Spring on the Beach,” and depicts a scene from the game with the male and female main characters and animals. The characters are magnetized and interchangeable, and the animals rotate while the music plays.
As for the game itself…
Can you imagine a world without cabbage, tomatoes, or even carrots? Believe it or not, that’s the world you’ll find yourself in at the beginning of Harvest Moon: One World, as the Harvest Goddess, the queen of crops herself, has vanished…
However, before the Harvest Goddess disappeared from this world, she imbued the tiny Harvest Wisps with the knowledge of various seeds, thus ensuring the various fruits and vegetables of the world would not be lost. Using the power given to these Harvest Wisps, you’ll unlock various seeds as you progress through the game! But the Harvest Wisps can be tricky to find, as they all appear at different times and places. You’ll need to use your noggin to make sure you seek out as many of them as you can!
Players will explore five unique and colorful areas that range from sprawling grasslands to searing desert to snowy mountains. And this being a Harvest Moon game, you can also expect to engage in plenty of farming and, of course, romance.
The Harvest Moon: One World Collector’s edition is available for pre-order at Limited Run Games for $99.99, and includes:
- Harvest Moon: One World Game for Nintendo Switch
- Harvest Moon Chicken Plush
- Magnetic Musical Diorama Set
